John Ray Tower of Bremerton

John Ray Tower, 51, of Bremerton died Sunday at Harrison Hospital.  He was born in Oakland, Calif., to Lyman and Edna (Swanson) Tower.  He attended West High School in Bremerton.  On Sept 11, 1993, he married Diana Devereaux in Bremerton.  He was a rigger's helper at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.  Mr. Tower had a passion for music, including playing guitar and piano.  He also enjoyed woodworking and taking walks in the park.  He was of the Lutheran faith.  Survivors include his wife, Diana Tower; of Bremerton; his mother, Edna Tower of Bremerton; three daughters, Sharleen, Jaime, and Chelsea Tower; all of Bremerton; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Christopher.  He was preceded in death by his father.
