After living in West Seattle for 38 years, my husband Geoff and I moved to the Kirkland/Bothell/Woodinville area to be close to my daughter Trinity and her family. I will truly miss West Seattle but I am excited to have the opportunity to live close to my delightful daughter, my wonderful son-in-law David and my amazing grandchildren Phoebe and Indi.
My son Matthew is a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He is currently stationed at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. He was previously stationed at Fort George Meade, MD where he was an instructor in computer warfare. He and his wife Monique have three boys.
My youngest daughter Charity is a University of Washington graduate. She works for the Alliance of People with Disabilities in Seattle.
Geoff and I are serious dog-lovers. We currently "own" four Pomeranians (although it would be more accurate to say that they own us). We are members of the West Seattle Pom Meetup Group. We have rescued several abused Pomeranians in recent years and we have fostered Cocker Spaniels as well.
My two daughters, Trinity and Charity, have a rare neurological disease called Friedreich's Ataxia and, as a result, we are members of the local chapter of the National Ataxia Foundation. I would be interested in connecting with individuals who have any form of the disease or know anyone who has a form of ataxia.
